Who the heck am I?

Name’s Louis Merz.

I was born in 1981 in the cold city of Anchorage, Alaska.  Later I moved to Delta Junction, Alaska where I lived for about 17 years.  Delta Junction is a very small town that marks the end of the Alaskan Highway.  Far enough out in the wilderness where the closest McDonalds was over 150 miles away. 

As they say, Alaska truly is home of the last frontier. Eventually, I got tired of the cold and moved to the sunny Fernandina Beach, Florida area. Later I joined the Air Force and served six years at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma in a Combat Communications squadron.

After serving my enlistment I moved back to the Fernandina Beach, Florida, where I currently reside.
