Link building is one of those things that needs to be done if your serious about your business and want lots of organic traffic from the search engines. Unfortunately, it can be time consuming and is not exactly the most appealing work in the Internet Marketing business. Fortunately, there is a software tool available online that makes it easier and faster for you to build quality back-links to your website.
SEO Elite is software I frequently use to build links by analyzing my competitors links. If your competitor is actively building links chances are he/she has found some good link partners or maybe even some one way links from high PR blogs or forums.
By using SEO Elite you can quickly analyze where your competitors backlinks are coming from and effectively try to get those links for your own link building campaign.
Let’s say for example I want to rank for the keyword “affiliate marketing” in Google. To start I would simply open SEO Elite and input one of the domains that are on the first page of Google for the keyword “affiliate marketing”. After a few minutes the software will do a search query and gather up to 1000 backlinks for that specific site.
Here is a snapshot to show you a sample of the actual results from the software query:

After looking through these results I can quickly pick out a few high PR blogs that will give me some strong one-way links to my own sites as well as a PR 7 forum that passes page rank. Note the software tells me what sites have nofollow tags which can save a tremendous amount of time especially if my main strategy is to try to get one-way links from blogs without nofollow tags.
If these sites were willing to link to my competitor chances are the site owners are actively trading links and would be willing to trade links with my website as well. Not every site owner cares about link building so this can be a great way to save time by finding site owners that have an active link building campaign.
Link building isn’t too bad when you let your competitors do the hard work right?
This is just one of the many things you can do with SEO Elite to help you with link building and other important SEO purposes. Be sure to check out the official SEO Elite website to learn more about how it can improve your own website’s search engine optimization.
How To Start Marketing In a Niche

Okay, you found a niche market that you want to create an information product in. What’s one of the best ways to start marketing in the niche?
Start by promoting your competitors products and building an email list. Keep in mind this will only work if it’s the type of niche market that allows you to build customer relationships. There are some markets where building a list simply will not work because the customers are one-time buyers.
The first thing I do is set up a opt-in page and create around 5-7 newsletter messages designed to promote one or several Clickbank products in my niche. You can then use an autoresponder service such as www.Aweber.com to capture email addresses and automatically send your newsletter out to your leads on specific days. Aweber is one of the most commonly used Autoresponder services. I’ve been using their services for two years now and have been pleased with it so far.
Here are a few reasons why you want to start by building a list first in your niche:
1. You will learn how much of a demand there is in your niche. If you have basic copywriting skills you should be able to make sales simply by promoting products with your newsletter. If not, it may be a good indication you’re in a dead market and may need move on to a more profitable niche.
2. While you are spending time researching and creating your product, you are building a list of potential buyers for your product when it becomes ready to launch. It may take you several months to create your own product, by that time you could have hundreds of valuable leads.
3. You can start making money right away. The affiliate commissions you earned could possibly fund all of your information product creation expenses.
4. Your list will help you procure JV partners. It’s easier to get other JV partners to work with you when you have a list of your own.
If you are not sure what to write for your own newsletter then get on your competitors lists to get some great ideas. Also be sure to check out what promotional tools and content they are offering for their affiliate programs. Often times if your competitor has a great affiliate program they will give you the newsletter content!
I have a website in the “learn to play guitar” niche and I was blown away the other day when I checked out the affiliate program for http://www.jamorama.com They’re basically giving you a killer free report, banner ads, product images, adwords keywords, free guitar lesson giveaways. There was enough free content available to create a killer authority website on learning to play guitar. All I would have to do is put the content together and create the site.
So I encourage you, follow this strategy to building a base in your niche market. It’s a smart way to become established in your market while you’re working on creating your own product.
Perspectives on Copywriting

If you are trying to increase your copywriting skills or maybe just want to have a deeper understanding of how copywriting works with basic human psychology then I highly recommend learning from Jeff Paul. Lately I’ve been studying his Killer Copywriting course. I’ve already noticed an increase in sales simply by tweaking a few things on my sales pages.
One interesting point he touched on in his course is that copywriting has been around for a really LONG time. People have been following the copywriting formula AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) and writing great copy for decades.
Check out this ad that was created over a hundred years ago. Take note that back then, being overweight was considered to be more attractive then being thin.

As you can see they are giving away free information and advice in hopes of gaining new leads. (Yet people still fail to grasp this concept). The ad has a headline, testimonials and does a great job of propelling the reader into the copy. Take some time to look at the advertisements in old magazines or go to your local antique store. You will realize that much of the copy and ideas coming from modern copy has been around for awhile.
If you simply study the ads in the popular magazines you can learn a ton about copywriting on your own. I’ve noticed many of the same ads for information products in the back of magazines that have been running for years. Considering it’s expensive to run an ad in a magazine, do you think just maybe someone’s making money thanks to the copy for the product?
